Euromed GNSS II - MEDUSA project

  • All day long Think Tank: Exploiting the potential of E-GNSS in non-EU countries for road regulated applications 

Tunis, Tunisia (19 May 2015) - The Think Tank is oriented to industry, business and research sectors involved in the fields of "geolocalization" and Intelligent Transport Systems, as well as to road operators and public bodies. It features interactive discussions from different perspectives, policy, user needs, technology and commercial. 

Coordinated by Telespazio, the MEDUSA (MEDiterranean follow-Up for EGNOS Adoption) project belongs to the Euromed GNSS framework, part of the Euromed Transport programme. MEDUSA aids the Euromed countries towards the operational introduction and the exploitation of the European GNSS (EGNOS/Galileo) in various applications, mainly in the transport sectors. MEDUSA implements a programme of technical assistance actions in the Euromed countries, aimed at capacity building, development of enablers and regional cooperation on EGNOS/Galileo.
