At the fifty-fourth session of the Scientific and Technical Subcommittee, the Working Group on the Long-term Sustainability of Outer Space Activities agreed to hold an intersessional meeting directly preceding the sixtieth session of the Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Spaace, in June 2017. The meeting has now been arranged and will take place on 5 and 6 June in Vienna. The latest version of the Guidelines for the long-term sustainability of outer space activities, found in document A/AC.105/L.308, will form the basis of discussions at the fourth intersessional meeting.
