European Union/UN Office for Outer Space Affairs panel discussion on Multilateralism at Work

VIENNA, 21 January 2020 (United Nations Information Service) - The Delegation of the European Union (EU) to the International Organisations in Vienna and the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA) invite you to a panel discussion to celebrate 40 years of the EU and the UN together in Vienna.

The panel will showcase examples of multilateralism at work, successful cooperation in the space sector and plans for the future. The event will be followed by a reception.

It will include remarks by:

  • Stephan Klement, Head of Delegation of the European Union to the International Organisations in Vienna;
  • Martin Selmayr, Head of the European Commission Representation in Austria: "The EU Space Strategy"
  • Simonetta Di Pippo, Director of UNOOSA; and
  • Carine Claeys, Special Envoy for Space/Head of the Space Task Force, European External Action Service.
