Recovery and Return of Objects Launched into Outer Space

List of Reported Space Objects Discovered by Member States

In compliance with article 8 of the Treaty on Principles Governing the Activities of States in the Exploration and Use of Outer Space, including the Moon and Other Celestial Bodies and article 5 of the Agreement on the Rescue of Astronauts, the Return of Astronauts and the Return of Objects Launched into Outer Space, Member States provide reports of space objects discovered in territory under its jurisdiction or on the high seas or in any other place not under the jurisdiction of any State. The following list is compiled from these notifications.
