SECRETARIAT OF COPUOS - COPUOS deals with international cooperation in the peaceful uses of outer space, monitors and discusses developments related to the exploration and use of outer space as well as the technical advancements in space exploration, geopolitical changes, and the evolving use of space science and technology for sustainable development.   


PROGRAMME ON SPACE APPLICATIONS - The Programme on Space Applications (PSA), since its creation in 1971, has furthered knowledge and experience of space applications around the world. Provision of country capacity-building, education, research and development support and technical advisory services by the Programme have all helped to reduce the gap between the industrialized and developing countries.


UN-SPIDER - The United Nations Platform for Space-based Information for Disaster Management and Emergency Response (UN-SPIDER) was established to develop solutions addressing limited access developing countries have to specialized technologies for disaster risk reduction and emergency response.


ICG - The International Committee on Global Navigation Satellite Systems (ICG) facilitates compatibility, interoperability and transparency between all the satellite navigation systems, to promote and protect the use of their open service applications and thereby benefit the global community.


UN-Space - UN-Space convenes annual sessions of the Inter-Agency Meeting on Outer Space Activities to discuss space-related matters among UN system entities. UN-Space organizes informal sessions open to Member States, private sector, non-governmental institutions and academia.

SPACE LAW - Space law is the body of law governing space-related activities. Space law, much like general international law, comprises a variety of international agreements, treaties, conventions, and United Nations General Assembly resolutions as well as rules and regulations of international organizations.


ACCESS TO SPACE FOR ALL - Access to Space for All enables communities from all over the world to use and benefit from space technologies and applications thanks to the cooperation among established space actors, the United Nations and non or emerging space entities.


HIGH LEVEL FORUM - A series of high level fora: Space as a Driver for Socioeconomic Sustainable Development, will be a unique opportunity for the collective space community to address the cross-sectoral impact of integrating economic, environmental, social, policy and regulatory dimensions of space in pursuance of global sustainable development.


WORLD SPACE FORUM - World Space Forum is an event series, which is built on the recommendations from three High-Level Fora held from 2016 to 2018, that brings together the increasing number of space actors to discuss the future of space and international cooperation. These actors include experts and policymakers from regional, national and local institutions, private organizations, academic institutions, non-governmental organizations, and international organizations, who participate in World Space Forum to exchange views on space economy, space society, space accessibility, and space diplomacy.
