Second Space4Water Stakeholder Meeting
organised by UNOOSA in partnership with the Prince Sultan Bin Abdulaziz International Prize for Water (PSIPW)
11-12 May 2023, hosted online in CEST/GMT+2 timezone.This event is restricted to Space4Water stakeholders, featured professionals, young professionals and representatives of Indigenous communities featured on the portal. Registration for speakers submitting technical presentations closes on 15 April 2023. Registration for all other participants closes on 30 April 2023.
Objectives
At the second Space4Water the stakeholder meeting community has an opportunity to meet and exchange online. The objectives include:
- Technical presentations by stakeholders, professionals and young professionals to demonstrate their activities and thematic areas of their work;
- Fostering knowledge exchange between the Space4Water stakeholders, professionals, young professionals, and Indigenous voices;
- Matching water-related challenges and space-based solutions;
- Identifying topics, structure and publication modalities for good practices to be developed by the community;
- Identifying ways to assess user needs in the water-related sectors;
- Discussing and identifying requirements of in-situ data collection, capacity building and coordination mechanisms to this end;
Dates and location
The workshop will take place on 11-12 May online. Accepted participants will receive a link beginning of May to connect to the meeting.

To be considered for participation Space4Water stakeholders and featured professionals, young professionals and Indigenous voices can register here from mid-March.
Registration for speakers submitting technical presentations closes on 15 April 2023.

If your organisation is not yet a Space4Water stakeholder, but active in using space-based technology or data for water (resource) management, hydrology or ecosystem preservation please apply to become a stakeholder first, by filling this form. Our staff will follow up with you.
