Space Law Technical Advisory Mission to Costa Rica
6 - 8 November 2023

From 6 to 8 November 2023, UNOOSA delivered the Space Law Technical Advisory Mission targeted and tailored for the governmental authorities of Costa Rica, made possible thanks to the financial support of the Secure World Foundation. The three-day in-person event was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Costa Rica and featured various central aspects of global governance of outer space activities, fundamental principles of international space law, and mechanisms for developing national regulatory and policy frameworks. The event was attended by more than 25 Costa Rican governmental officials, representatives of academia, and the private sector.
