The mission focused on the importance of drafting a national space law covering the seven key parts of a national space law including scope of application, safety, liability, transfer of ownership, etc. The mission also included a scenario-based exercise, allowing participants to fully engage with the materials discussed and provide a practical application of the subject matter. The Technical Advisory Mission was attended by more than 40 representatives from Ghana's government, industry, and academia including Ghana's Ministry of Environment Science and Technology and the Ghana Space Science and Technology Institute as well as representatives of the French Embassy in Ghana.
