"If Nepal is to progress as a space fairing nation, the country has to take each and every opportunity available to develop self-reliance, perform R&D and build capacity for space. I strongly believe that Nepal's involvement in PHI-1 will be a small step toward future potential collaboration for Vision 2050, a vision to  launch our nation's first astronaut in space by 2050. Space is the new limit, even for Nepal." -Dr. Abhas Maskey, Founder, Antarikchya Pratisthan Nepal

Danfe payload will study the on-orbit performance of the PX4 Middleware, and demonstrate of novel STM32WL chip. The payload will explore the possibility of using PX4 Middleware as a generalized CubeSat bus flight operating system for CubeSat. The operational data from PX4 Middleware will be used to develop a complete flight operating system, which will contribute to faster and easier prototyping of the CubeSat. The other technology demonstration mission explores the possibility of using a single chip for communication and data handling processes.
