All Permanent Missions to the United Nations and permanent observers of COPUOS are invited to a briefing in connection with the preparations for the forthcoming sixty-eighth session of COPUOS. During the briefing, the secretariat will respond to any questions concerning the organization of the session. The hybrid event will take place in CR-1 at the Vienna International Centre on Thursday, 5 June 2025, at 2 p.m. (Vienna Time). In-person attendance is available to individuals with a valid grounds pass for the Vienna International Centre. Delegations attending virtually are invited to use the link contained in the Invitation circular OOSA/2025/44 - CU 2025/175 of 28 May 2025.
Decision: The Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space decides that the sixty-eighth session of the Committee will be held from 25 June to 2 July 2025. This shortening of the session from the originally scheduled one does not constitute a precedent for future sessions of the Committee and its subcommittees.
